After just managing to get 5 fit players for this game, Koyo started very brightly taking an early lead. However, an unfortunate own goal from Ben Prickett allowed Creation to draw level. Koyo continued to play some good football with both teams evenly matched.
With Koyo only losing 6 - 8 at half time, the game was still there for the taking, Ben scored what looked like a certain goal to put Koyo almost level, but the referee didn't think the ball had crossed the line and disallowed it.
Andy Whymark was in fine form scoring 4 times, his brother in law Mitchell, making his debut scored a well deserved hat trick and Dave Betney chipped in with 1, but with no substitutes, Koyo finally run out of steam, allowing Creation to take command and win by a score line that doesn't really reflect how well Koyo played.
Hopefully next week, Koyo will have a full squad of 8, which they will need, as they play top of the table Domino's.
