EXSEV Bearing Series

Koyo's line of EXSEV (Extreme Special Environment) bearings were specifically engineered for the tough applications..like those involving high temperatures, corrosive solutions and atmospheres, dry lubrication, low particle emissions, non-magnetic environments and high vacuum conditions.
Koyo meets the challenge with specialty steels, silicon nitride bearing components and advanced dry film coatings for protection and low particle emissions.

Rolling mill roll neck bearings:
Rolling mill roll neck four-row cylindrical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings are designed to achieve the maximum load rating capaciy in a limited space.

Four-row cylindrical roller bearings:
Suitable for high-speed rotation. Thin section designs are also available. The inner ring raceway surface and the roll can be finished simultaneously after the inner ring is mounted on the roll neck. This feature is useful in improving rolling mill accuracy.

Four-row tapered roller bearings:
Suitable for low- and medium-speed rotation. Available in both metric and inch series. The internal clearance is preadjusted, facilitating mounting.

EXSEV bearings:
In the latest technologies, bearings are expected to operate successfully in an ultra high vacuum, corrosive atmosphere, and clean environments.

Ceramic bearings:
Ceramics are used in Nonmagnetic, High-Temperature, Insulating, Corrosive, Vacuum, Clean Environment and High-Speed Rotation appliactions.
